  • How do you like to move?

Running is something I have grown to love because I can do it anywhere, you just need a little motivation. I also like to Crossfit where I have met some of best friends. Having a group of people with similar goals keeps me motivated and it is a good environment for my whole family.

  • What is your favorite snack?

Apples are by far my favorite and even better if peanut butter is included.

  • How do you challenge yourself?

I challenge myself to be patient with my kids and goals. I like to move fast and do all the things.

  • What do you do for fun?

With my family a perfect day of fun is biking around our neighborhood and sometimes even destination rides to get ice cream! By myself I love to go shopping or for a run by myself. I also love to get together with friends, it helps make me a better mom and wife.

  • What did you do for fun as a kid?

My brothers and sisters and I explored rivers or streams. Jumping hay bales was one of my favorite things to do. We lived in the country so I spent lot of time taking care of our cats and dogs. I always thought I was going to be a vet when I was little.

  • What is your favorite quote/saying/mantra?

You don’t have to be great to start but you do have to start to be great.

The best project you will ever work on is yourself.

  • What animal would you be and why?

An eagle. I have always been very independent. I also have a watchful eye while leading and “hunting” – I love a good bargain for shopping with an Eagle Eye. Bonus that I could fly.

  • What is your role on the KidsFit team and why is it important to you?

I oversee all things KidsFit as the Certfied Personal Trainer & Youth Fitness Specialist who created this program. I created this program to help all kids and families have a positive experience moving their bodies. I believe if we can get people to fall in love with how moving can make them feel then more people might make it part of their lifestyle.

There is so many ways to move, we want to help you find something that you love doing.
